Goodbye 2020. Hello 2021! We have some updates we'd like to share. Two firsts for ACR, the first of the long-awaited ACR swag releases, and this year's annual Food 4 Farmers round up, have us all positively giddy!

If you've hung in there with us through 2020, you may already know that we've made some changes to our look. The first was our retail coffee bag for Central Market, featuring the schematic for our Revelation roaster we lovingly call Patty. Next, our website got a bit of a face lift. And now.... wait for it.... we have ACR canvas totes! We weren't sure how they would turn out, if at all, but they look fantastic!
These are cotton canvas bags with our logo on one side, and Patty's schematic on the back. Now you can be the coolest kid on your block with one of these on your shoulder!
(Supplies are limited.)
We sent out the call for anyone who would listen, and you did! For a few years now, the Food 4 Farmers organization has been our charity of choice. You may have noticed the "Donate $1.00 to Food 4 Farmers" option when you choose a coffee on our site. To make it even easier, you can donate in $1.00, $3.00, and $5.00 increments, no coffee purchase necessary. At the end of the year, we tally up all the donations and match them dollar for dollar.
This year, we more than doubled the matched donation made last year, bringing the total donations to $3,882.00!
F4F is currently spearheading several projects in the works in Mexico, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Guatemala. The farmers and their families learn about nutritional diversification, so they can better attend to their health. There are programs to teach elementary school children how to grow vegetable and fruit gardens themselves. Additionally, F4F helps coffee-growing communities by teaching sustainable farming techniques and environmental awareness. Leaning into those techniques, the farmers also learn about income diversification, so they can better support their families throughout the year, not just during coffee season. Gaining quite a bit of momentum in this arena is the fine art of beekeeping, packing a punch by not only providing more money for the farmers’ households, but also helping to encourage environmental stability. To learn more about this organization, more specifics on their projects, or how you can help, please visit their website here.
We are so proud to be able to send this check to help coffee farmers break free of economic and nutritional hardships.
It is YOUR generosity that has made this possible!
Let's keep that karma going! If you’re ordering from the website, check that “Yes” box! Even if you just want to write a check, we’ll match it. These farmers work tirelessly to provide you with your daily cup of "Joe," help us repay them through Food 4 Farmers.
We thank you for all for your help!
