Introducing our Newest Yemen Mocca LTD

We have a brand new Yemen LTD to tempt you this month. This will be the third offering sourced from Pearl of Tehama, a woman-owned coffee producer, mill, and exporter. We have been so impressed with their coffee, we had to try this one! Following its tremendously popular predecessors,Yemen Mocca Hawari and Yemen Mocca Haimi, our latest Yemeni import is just as enticing, but with its own beautiful nuances.

Get acquainted with our newest YEMEN MOCCA LTD.

Pearl of Tehama is surrounded by small coffee farms and rooftop drying beds, at an altitude between 3200-6500 feet above sea level. If you've read previous ACR articles, you may remember that coffee grown at high altitude, with harsher conditions, tends to yield bright, incredibly dynamic coffees.

Our latest Yemen Mocca LTD comes from the region of Bura'a, Al Hudaydah, on the western coast of the country. Coffee production in this region hasn't really changed since the 15th century. Much of the coffee from Yemen is still dried on rooftops before milling and export. Dry/natural processing of coffee is the oldest coffee processing method in the world, and great care must be taken to ensure the coffee dries evenly.

This coffee is grown between 1300-2300 masl. Our Yemen Mocca LTD is an alluring showcase of fig spread and semi-sweet chocolate notes on a velvety backdrop. A fine example of the unique, dynamic nuances for which Yemeni coffee is renowned, you won't likely be disappointed by this little piece of history in your cup!
