Last September, we started a program that we thought might provide a way for Vincent, our head roaster, to showcase his expertise and share these experimentations with our customers. We had no idea how well received this program would be! Our monthly Roaster's Choice offerings have steadily grown in popularity with each month since the program's introduction.
Well, for this month, Vincent has handed the Roaster's Choice over to member of his roasting team, George. George has been with ACR for about 3 years now, and is an integral part of our team. His passion for coffee began long before he joined us, though. Soft spoken, generous by nature, and absolutely hilarious, you may have met him either on the phone or in our shop (before COVID-19 came to town, that is).

For his first Roaster's Choice offering, George has chosen a washed processed Rwanda, light roast. Normally reserved for blends, our Rwanda lends balance with its brightness. But George went all out with this one, and we're really excited with the results! With bright Meyer lemon sweet tones, a lively acidity, and notes of fig and date in the finish, this is a very intriguing coffee. It would be awesome with any method of brew you happen to favor, but we recommend French press, Aeropress, cold brew, or pour over to best showcase it's gorgeous nuances.
